Participant consent

Know what happens before you speak.

The meeting organiser should share this page before recording starts. Compacio processes the meeting locally for speaker separation, transcription and translation by default. If the local engine is unavailable, the app may offer a clearly labelled browser speech fallback; browser recognition may process audio outside this device. API mode also sends selected, locally redacted text to the provider chosen by the organiser.

What this page does

It stores a timestamp, optional name and consent-text version only in this browser session. It does not send the acknowledgement to Compacio or prove that every participant has consented. The organiser remains responsible for the lawful notice, legal basis, retention and deletion workflow.
